Armenia travel FAQ
Everything travellers ask us most about visiting Armenia, and how to make it happen.
What are the best places to visit in Armenia?
Armenia's top tourist places include Yerevan, Lake Sevan, the monasteries of Tatev, Khor Virap (for Mount Ararat views), Garni Temple and Geghard, Etchmiadzin Cathedral, and the wine country around Areni. Our Places to Visit section covers each region in detail.
How many days do you need in Armenia?
Five days lets you see Yerevan plus the highlights of the north and south on day trips. Seven to ten days is ideal for a relaxed trip that reaches the remote south (Tatev) and even combines Armenia with Georgia.

Do I need a visa to visit Armenia?
Citizens of the EU, UK, US, Canada and many other countries can enter Armenia visa-free for stays of up to 180 days. Always check the latest rules for your nationality before you travel.
